About Steve Wozniak

Best known as the co-founder of Apple Computers, Steve Wozniak also created the first universal remote, was a pioneer in GPS technology and organized the US Festival for music and culture in the 1980s.

On top of all that Woz is also a well-known philanthropist and a Segway electric vehicle enthusiast, going so far as having a Segway polo championship named after him. In 2006 Woz released his much-anticipated autobiography iWoz and most recently participated in a memorable run on Dancing with the Stars.

Over his long career Steve Wozniak has become something of a figurehead for the do-it-yourself computing scene, encouraging future innovators and inventors to think different and follow their own paths.
